What?

Ian Forrester will be in manchester as part of the BBC Backstage university tour kicking off with a daytime talk at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He’s kindly agreed to do a talk in the evening as well.

Afterwards, it’s off to the pub…

The talk: “New Media is Dead”. Ian Forrester will talk about why the New Media world is old hat. With more people taking control of how they consume, participate and create vast amounts of data and media, they will explore how this new world presents a new challenge for people in the creative industries.

When?

Monday, 5th March;

  • 6:30pm – Talk starts
  • 7:40pm onwards – Pub!

If you turn up a bit early, just buzz to be let in (from 6pm onwards).

Where?

The talk will be held at the Manchester Digital Development Agency.
